Fabricator

Fabricator responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material, interpreting blueprints, and inspecting completed welds.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalency
• Technical degree in welding or high school/postsecondary technical education coursework
• Experience in MIG welding
• TIG welding experience (plus)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Math skills (basic math, fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry)
• Ability to operate manual or semiautomatic welding equipment
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal standard operation and safety instructions
• Aptitude to become proficient at using welding gages
• Ability to complete assigned projects within required timeline
• Ability to cooperate with supervisors and accept instructions
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with all fellow co-workers
• Maintain acceptable attendance and arrive at work early enough to be ready to work at the start of your shift
• Follow safety procedures and reporting requirements
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for system installations and warranty work
