Associate Sub-editor, Japanese and English Language

Third Bridge is a market-leading global investment research firm seeking an Associate Sub-editor to support their continued growth in Asia, particularly in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for transcribing and translating interviews accurately across their Forum and Community products, with a focus on Japanese content.

Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese and English with exceptional spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
• Strong knowledge of translation best practices
• First-hand experience of editing and proofreading transcriptions and/or translations
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing principles
• Meticulous eye for detail with outstanding research and proofreading skills
• Self-starter who can prioritize effectively and deliver results independently
• Strong communicator who can resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders
