Job Description
Medical Assistant Scribe responsible for supporting patient care in a busy ophthalmology practice, performing routine clinical and administrative tasks, and interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements
- College degree preferred, BS degree related to medical/healthcare field is preferred
- No prior experience required but experience in medical/healthcare field is preferred
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and compliance
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel
