Mechanic Trainee - Lift Truck

The Mechanic Trainee is an entry level position responsible for assisting experienced technicians on jobs involving servicing and repair of equipment. The trainee will receive extensive on the job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning to remain in the technician training program.

Requirements

• Performs basic safe machine operation & inspection
• Performs tasks on basic components in work area including engine, hydraulic, transmission, and electrical components
• Works as helper in field service with experienced technician as required
• Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures
• Performs shop, yard, and job site clean-up as required
• Creates comprehensive, timely, and accurate service reports
• Keeps accurate records of all work
