Job Description
Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI to lead the design and delivery of AI-driven content workflows, integrating modern AI technologies with established content platforms.
Requirements
- Practical experience with LLMs/AI: agents, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails
- 5+ years building scalable backends and APIs
- 3+ years with Python (FastAPI or similar) and strong relational SQL skills (PostgreSQL/Oracle)
- Strong AWS and security controls: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and networking best practices
- Hands-on with AWS services: S3, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and SQS/Kinesis
- Operational excellence: scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization
- Integration of content pipelines with Java/Spring and testing (JUnit 5/Mockito)
