Senior Operations Analyst (Navy MCM/MIREM)

THOR Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Mine Warfare (MIW) Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (MIREM) program in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations research/analysis, statistics, and data analysis in a US Navy environment, especially in a MIW/Mine Countermeasures (MCM) setting.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, or a similar discipline
• At least six (6) years of professional experience with operational research, operations analysis, applied math, and statistics
• Experience leading/coordinating teams of other analysts and contributors
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience in the use of analytical software tools and languages such as MATLAB, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Python, SQL, and R
• Proficient with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills
