Job Description
Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Business, seeks French Associate Language Instructors to support the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne). The role involves assisting in foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) instruction and program support, including teaching language curriculum, developing lesson plans, and utilizing technology to enhance learning.
Requirements
- At least ILR level 2 in English as measured by DoD test.
- A score of 553 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) PBT, or TOEFL iBT score with a minimum overall score of 83 and at least 20 each in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
- A score of no less than 82 on the English Comprehension Level (ECL) test.
- At least a proficiency level 2 or Advanced-Low (ACTFL) on an OPI.
- General professional proficiency (ILR level 2+ or ACTFL Advanced-High) or higher in French.
- Minimum of 80 hours documented training in online language teaching.
- Must pass the foreign language test.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
