Job Description
Ozwall is a world leader in Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum Precast Technology and innovative vertical formwork systems. They are looking for a skilled Fitter-Welder to join their Sydney-based production team.
Requirements
- Study technical drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, methods, and sequences of operations
- Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble metal parts and subassemblies to reinforcement cages and panels
- Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments
- Set guides, stops, and other controls on jigs to ensure production consistency
- Form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore, and drill metal
- Erect products at the factory for assembly checks and quality assurance as required
