Job Description
The Operation Technician will operate, maintain and service all plant equipment while ensuring the plant is running smoothly and efficiently, meeting quality, permit and safety standards.
Requirements
- Trade or Vocational School in related area preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
- Experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of gas or diesel stationary engine power generating equipment, boilers, dryer, cooling tower, water softeners and related systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willing and able to work a rotating, 24/7, 12-hour shift work schedule
- Able to respond to system failure or emergency conditions on own authority
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
