Job Description
Machine Operator 1 is responsible for operating various equipment and carrying out tasks in the manufacture of dietary supplements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- 1-3 years of experience working with equipment or in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making
- Punctual and reliable in work attendance
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to allergenic supplement powder and loud heavy equipment
- Ability to read and write legibly in English
- Ability to work assigned shifts and/or schedules
- Basic math skills including the ability to convert units of measure
