Job Description
Industrial Technician (2nd Shift) responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment, programming and debugging PLC controlled equipment, and developing program flow charts and state diagrams.
Requirements
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment with focus on electrical components
- Program and debug PLC controlled equipment on a wide variety of PLC platforms
- Develop program flow charts and state diagrams for automation processes
- Assure conformity of third-party suppliers to TI Automotive equipment standards
- Assist in equipment startup and launch activities at various locations
- Improve efficiencies of existing automated equipment (may require mechanical repair)
- Assist in troubleshooting PLC and automation issues on the manufacturing floor
