Senior Android Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer within an Agile Scrum team, you will lead technical design and code quality while mentoring junior developers. Partnering with architects and leadership, you’ll drive the team’s technical direction and ensure the delivery of high-standard software solutions.

Requirements

• Lead and mentor a high-performing development team within an Agile/Scrum framework, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure technical delivery aligns with commercial goals.
• Architect and optimize high-speed, scalable applications within a serverless AWS environment (Lambda, Kinesis), ensuring peak performance and rapid resolution of technical faults
• Own the end-to-end SDLC—from requirement gathering to deployment—by collaborating with cross-platform teams and researching AI/latest technologies to enhance the Android ecosystem
• Uphold rigorous quality standards through comprehensive peer reviews, proactive bug-fixing, and the continuous maintenance of existing client applications to ensure stability and best-practice coding
• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams to define, develop, and maintain robust client applications that meet evolving business needs.
