Database Support Engineer - US

Role Overview

We're looking for a versatile Database Support Engineer to join our Technical Services team. You'll work across our entire technology stack, from PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB to Kubernetes, AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, and more. This isn't just a database job, you'll work at the intersection of databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern platform engineering.

What You Will Do

Provide technical support to customers experiencing database and platform issues, troubleshoot and optimise PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB performance issues, and help implement database solutions.

Requirements

• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge
• Proficiency in CLI
• SQL expertise
• Performance analysis
• Experience with TimescaleDB, other relational databases
• Background in customer-facing technical roles
• Curiosity or experience with AI in databases
• Ability to learn quickly across diverse technical domains
• Strong communication skills
