Backend Software Engineer (Solutions), TikTok Local Service

TikTok Local Service Team aims to deliver user-facing products connecting people with localized content and services. The Backend Software Engineer (Solutions) will collaborate with the TikTok product engineering team to build and enhance products, identify business opportunities, design end-to-end systems, and ensure long-term maintainability and scalability. This role requires strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in programming/coding, backend technical solution design, and delivery
• Familiarity with one or more general programming languages (Python, Go, Java, C/C++)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and partner-relationship management skills
• Ability to tailor presentations based on the audience's technical level
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
