TikTok is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join the TikTok Live Foundation Team in Sydney. The role involves leading large-scale technical projects, developing robust technology products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, C++
• Experience building scalable, highly available, distributed and mission-critical systems
• Deep understanding of computer architecture, data structures and algorithms
• In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka
