Big Data Engineer Intern (Monetization Data) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

TikTok is seeking a Big Data Engineer Intern to join their Monetization Data team in Singapore. The internship offers industry exposure and hands-on experience, empowering students to contribute to TikTok's monetization business through data acquisition, building, and management. The team focuses on providing scalable solutions and driving business growth through data-driven insights and exploring new data technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong interest in computer science and internet technology
• Know relevant technologies of the Hadoop ecosystem, such as the principles of MapReduce, Spark, Hive, and Flink
• Familiar with SQL, be able to use SQL to perform data analysis, or proficient in Java, Python and Shell and other programming languages for data processing
• Good at communication
• Proactive in work
• A strong sense of responsibility
• Good teamwork ability
• Commit to at least 3 months long internship period
• Commit to either internship period: From January to June or From May to August (Summer)
