TikTok is seeking a talented Research Scientist Graduate to join their algorithm team in Seattle, Washington. The team focuses on developing cutting-edge computer vision, NLP, and multimodality models to protect the platform and users from harmful content. As a graduate, you'll have the opportunity to pursue innovative ideas, tackle complex challenges, and contribute to the recognition and understanding of violated content on TikTok, as well as optimize model training frameworks. The position has a tentative 2026 start date.

Requirements

• Master or Bachelor degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Related Research Experience at least one of the following areas: computer vision, multimodality, LLM
• Proficient with at least one deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Logical thinking skills
• Communication and collaboration skills
