Job Description
TikTok is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build efficient data transformation pipelines, develop scalable big data systems, and perform data analysis and integration. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.
Requirements
- Design and build efficient and reliable data transformation pipelines
- Develop and implement scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems
- Perform data analysis, ingestion, and integration using Big Data technologies
- Architect and maintain ETL processes and ensure effective schema design and data modeling
- Establish and promote engineering best practices
- Work cross-functionally with development teams and business customers
- Mentor interns and junior data engineers
