Software Engineer, Recommendation Infrastructure

The Recommendation Architecture Team at TikTok is seeking a Software Engineer to build and optimize the architecture for their recommendation system, ensuring a stable and positive user experience. This role involves building high-performance online services, efficient data pipelines, and globalized large-scale recommendation systems, as well as developing computing frameworks and storage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable systems and possess strong programming skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience building scalable systems
• Experience in programming (C, C++, Java, or Golang)
• Effective communication skills
• Sense of ownership and drive
• Experience in personalized recommendations, search engine, machine learning, distributed storage system, or big data frameworks
