Software Engineer, Machine Learning Infrastructure

The Recommendation Architecture Team at TikTok is seeking a Software Engineer, Machine Learning Infrastructure to build and optimize the architecture for their recommendation system. The role involves participating in research and optimization of large-scale machine learning online prediction frameworks, processing large-scale feature samples, and collaborating with algorithm teams to solve challenges and meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• Experience building scalable systems
• Proficient in C/C++ programming in a Linux environment
• Familiar with operating system concepts and computer architecture
• Understand the underlying framework of mainstream machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch etc)
• Background in High Performance Computing, Applied ML models, ML Hardware Acceleration or ML Systems
