Job Description
Thomas, Judy & Tucker (TJT) is seeking a Tax Manager specializing in individual (1040) tax compliance and planning to join our growing tax team in one of our four North Carolina offices – Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington, or Cedar Point, NC.
Requirements
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on complex individual (1040) tax returns
- Strong understanding of the integration between individual, partnership, S corporation, trust, and estate returns
- Experience working with high-net-worth and legacy clients
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; master's degree in accounting preferred
- Active CPA license strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and managerial skills
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Previous experience training and mentoring tax staff and interns
