Job Description
TKDA, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Senior Professional Civil Engineer to lead project teams and mentor junior engineers. This role involves a variety of projects, from renewable energy sites to municipal infrastructure, and client interaction. The hybrid work model emphasizes collaboration and authentic client partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or Illinois
- Minimum of ten years of progressive technical design experience with site development projects
- Minimum of five years of progressive and successful experience managing projects
- Minimum of two years of business development experience
- Ability to apply effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop less experienced professionals
- Provide and lead Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) reviews for civil projects
- Experience working with regulatory agencies
- Experience and understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D used to develop site designs
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
