Fire and Building Safety Manager

Fire and Building Safety Manager role at Together Housing Group, responsible for ensuring building safety and quality in high-risk residential environments. The role involves developing and managing building information models, registering buildings with the Building Safety Regulator, and coordinating remedial works. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building safety and fire safety, with training and accreditations in building engineering or property compliance. They will also have excellent analytical and report writing skills, and knowledge of governance and risk management principles.

Requirements

• Strong experience within a similar Building Safety or Fire Safety role
• Training and accreditations in a building engineering, construction or property compliance discipline
• Knowledge of housing management data systems, proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience in change management and service improvement
• Strong knowledge and application of governance and risk management principles in relation to building and resident safety
• A Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management (completed or to be completed within three months) or an equivalent Level 6 building or construction qualification
• Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or a similar professional body
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Benefits

• Starting salary of £60,240 per annum
• 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays
• Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 2 days on-site, and 1 day working from home
• 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday (occasional evening or weekend working depending on business needs)
