We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a safe, compliant and positive working environment across the Group. In this key role, you’ll provide expert advice, carry out site inspections and help embed a strong health and safety culture across all areas of the organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience providing professional health and safety advice within a complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practice
- Experience investigating incidents and implementing control measures
- The ability to influence, challenge and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and producing detailed reports
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- A Level 3 Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate)
- IOSH membership (TechIOSH or above) and evidence of continuous professional development
