Hand Seamstress

Tom James is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Hand Seamstress to join their team at their Brown & Church location in Pilot Mountain, NC. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall excellence of hand sew operations, work independently and collaboratively, and meet or exceed customer and team objectives.

Requirements

• Accurately follow work orders to meet customer/product specifications
• Focus on precision first and then pace
• Quality check work for neat seems and correct stitching
• Ability to identify flaws/variations in different patterns and color identification
• Must be able to handle materials such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, etc.
• Work with team members to coordinate work flow and resolve issues
• Keep work area tidy
