Artiste FX & Compositing pour Harmony

TONIC DNA is a production company offering comprehensive animation services with high-quality creative content. This hybrid role allows a 2D FX artist to contribute to both 2D FX and compositing scenes in Harmony.

Requirements

• Perform compositing and rendering of animated scenes and film sequences.
• Apply camera movements, transitions, cache layers (mattes), color corrections, and compositing effects.
• Set up and manage multiplane setups.
• Perform line boiling on necessary elements.
• Update rigs in final scenes when required.
• Create and animate traditional 2D FX (textures, ground shadows, tones, highlights, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Lead FX to develop FX approaches and tools adapted to the production.
• Determine project needs with the supervisor and leads.
• Manage rendered files and verify naming conventions.
• Respect project deadlines and objectives.
• Solid skills in compositing and FX in Harmony.
• Excellent mastery of Toon Boom Harmony.
• Experience in traditional 2D FX and effect animation.
• Excellent technical bases: roto, tracking, paint, colorimetric correction.
• Experience in multi-pass scene compositing and element integration.
• Experience in multiplane and camera management in Harmony.
• Experience in line boiling and animation stylistic adjustments.
• Ability to modify and update rigs in final scenes.
• Keen sense of detail, composition, lighting, and color.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as a team.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production (films, series, or advertising).
• Experience with the Adobe suite is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to continuously expand their repertoire by learning new techniques.
