Job description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Controls Engineer with strong PLC programming and industrial automation skills to lead a comprehensive Sonoco safety process and drive plant/process improvements.
Develop and modify PLC programs, ensure safety of employees, perform troubleshooting, and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues in industrial equipment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens STEP 7 and Schneider Electric PLC platforms, proficiency in AutoCAD and CMMS software, and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
