Software Engineer, Infrastructure

We're a fast-growing, global-first team looking for a Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The role involves building and owning the systems that power our real-time auction engine, API platform, and internal developer tooling. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining foundational infrastructure, raising reliability, making deployments boring, and enabling developers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in infrastructure, platform, or SRE work, solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, and experience with major cloud providers and infrastructure-as-code tools. The team is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and values straightforward communication, feedback, and a sense of urgency.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain foundational infrastructure that every Topsort product and engineering team depends on
• Define and enforce SLOs, build alerting systems, and lead postmortems
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems that are reliable and invisible
• Own cloud infrastructure through Terraform or equivalent
• Build internal tooling and platform capabilities to make every Topsort engineer faster, safer, and more autonomous
• Implement and enforce security best practices at the infrastructure level
• Capacity plan, load test, and tune systems ahead of demand
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond, resolve, and document issues
