Job Description
TopView Group is seeking a career-driven Diesel Bus Mechanic with 5+ years of professional experience in heavy-duty fleet maintenance to join their maintenance team. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel buses, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems, and maintaining detailed maintenance/repair records for DOT and company compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a bus or heavy-duty diesel mechanic
- Strong knowledge of DOT inspection procedures
- Advanced troubleshooting skills (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems)
- Experience with A/C, fuel, and ventilation systems
- Valid CDL B license (preferred but not required)
- Comfort with diagnostic software and electronic recordkeeping
Benefits
- Pay: $30–$35 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
