The Senior Specialist, EV Network Development role will lead the planning, development, and optimization of the Toronto Parking Authority’s (TPA) parking, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and mobility infrastructure network.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in network planning, project management, or infrastructure development
- Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Team leadership
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Sound knowledge of procurement processes and contract management
- Valid G driver’s license
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities
- Expertise in project management methodologies, including experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community groups
- Solid understanding of sustainability principles and innovative urban mobility solutions
- Strong financial literacy skills with the ability to analyze various pricing models and make recommendations
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Superior organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Solid business insights to solution immediate issues and to identify trends, provide recommendations, plans and implement actions
- Ability to successfully manage under pressure and respond to critical and or changing priorities to meet deadlines
- Motivated, self-directed and capable of working within tight deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and excels in a team environment
