Job Description
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer II to build and support software solutions for large retail clients. The role involves implementing software with architectural guidance, collaborating with internal teams, and adhering to a fast-paced development environment. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative, customer-first environment.
Requirements
- Participate in requirements, design, development, and test/debug client code using Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS and Vue JavaScript
- Resolving Unit, Functional and field defects
- Troubleshooting technical challenges requiring a moderate to complex scope of knowledge
- Working within a development team and stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and meet deadlines
- Working with relational and No-SQL databases
- Modern web development experience including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and JS frameworks
- Demonstrated Knowledge of test and deployment platforms like Jenkins, Docker, Cucumber/Selenium, Azure, and Kubernetes
- Strong programming and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Git, SVN, and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Experience with Toshiba work activities, software development, & release management
