Job Description
Total Safety is looking for an Air Technician to provide quality workmanship in the cleaning, calibrating and repair of various fixed and portable gas monitoring systems, water/moisture content measuring equipment and breathing equipment.
Requirements
- At least one year of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry
- Valid driver's license and valid proof of vehicle insurance
- Safe driving record and insurability for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving company truck
- Class C driver's license with a DOT hazardous endorsement
- Ability to study for and pass any basic license requirements within six months of employment
- ICC/NAFED certification
- Ability to operate electronic safety equipment and understand production platform shutdowns performed through fire and gas detection systems
- Knowledge of all regulatory standards pertaining to assigned responsibilities
- High School diploma or GED, Associate degree, technical or military training strongly preferred
