Mountain Bike Instructor

The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a part-time Mountain Bike Instructor to assist with planning and execution of mountain bike programs, supervise participants, and communicate effectively with participants and supervisors.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate intermediate to advanced mountain biking skills with the ability to instruct others on Town of Snowmass Village Trails.
• Any combination of experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school; some college level work in courses related to recreation programming is desirable.
• First Aid and CPR prior to start.
• PMBIA or similar cycling specific training, preferred but not required.
• Wilderness First Aid/First Responder certification preferred but not required.
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, good character, integrity and adaptability.
• Ability to deal with conflict professionally and effectively.
• Ability to relate to youth as well as one's peer group
