Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead development of deployment systems for CubeSats and other small size spacecraft. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 or more years of experience designing mechanisms and structures encountering challenging vibration, shock, and temperature environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 or more years of experience designing mechanisms and structures encountering challenging vibration, shock, and temperature environments
- Experience with various elements of mechanical design and drafting
- Experience using parametric CAD software to create models of assemblies, parts and drawings
- Experience with SolidWorks and / or Creo skills
