Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead development of advanced electro-mechanical designs from R&D to production. Responsibilities include design, development, and testing of mechanical systems for space applications, collaborating with the Program Manager to define project objectives, and leading multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8 or more years of experience designing mechanisms and structures encountering challenging vibration, shock, and temperature environments
- Experience with the various elements of mechanical design and drafting
- Experience using parametric CAD software
- Experience with SolidWorks and / or Creo skills are preferred
- Experience mentoring and providing work leadership to associate mechanical engineers is desirable
