The Network Engineer III will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure for the program. The ideal candidate brings strong networking fundamentals and a hands-on approach to supporting production environments.
Requirements
- Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper Networks.
- Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues.
- Implement and support core networking technologies including VLANs, routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and basic network security controls.
- Troubleshoot network incidents across LAN/WAN environments, performing root cause analysis and documenting resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
- Travel to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to program personnel.
- Support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the program.
