Job Description
Active Waste Chemist position at Tradebe Fawley, responsible for managing radioactive waste and ensuring compliance with regulatory permits. Must have strong background in Radiation Protection work and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Qualified Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) or working towards
- Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word and SAP)
- Ability to manage staff (act as a line manager)
- H&S and Environmental Legislation
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) relating to radioactives
- Knowledge of the UK radioactive waste management and nuclear industry
