Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Certified Bilanzbuchhalter preferred.
• Additional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are advantageous, especially with IFRS relevance.
• 5–7+ years professional accounting experience, ideally in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong expertise in HGB, RechKredV, and practical familiarity with IFRS accounting requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in national and EU reporting frameworks (AWV / IFD–IFR / FinaV).
• Extensive hands-on work with DATEV.
• Proven track record in audit preparation and interactions with supervisory bodies.
• Deep technical accounting competence (HGB, RechKredV, IFRS).
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
• High precision, reliability, and an organised working style.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; comfort with financial systems and structured data.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex accounting issues for stakeholders.
• Proactive, independent, and process-oriented mindset.
• High integrity and professional judgement.
• Ownership mentality with ability to operate autonomously.
• Detail-focused while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Strong prioritisation and deadline management capability.
