Job Description
As a Data Scientist, you will work with clients to develop analytic solutions for credit, fraud, insurance, and marketing applications. You will lead client engagements, design predictive models, and deliver business intelligence solutions. The role requires a master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field or a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience. You will have advanced programming skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working with credit bureau data and solutions.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, computer science, engineering, operations research, or other highly quantitative field
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience and demonstrated success in client-facing roles over a period of at least 1 year
- 1 year of professional experience performing analytic work, preferably in industries served by Transunion
- Advanced programming skills and aptitude
- Proficiency with statistical programs such as R or Python
- Experience with other programming languages (SQL, C/C++, Java, Ab Initio) and platforms (Hive, Spark)
- High level of familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
