Job Description
We are seeking a Manager, Research and Consulting to lead a small team of analysts and drive research initiatives that explain consumer-credit trends. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in consumer-lending analytics, risk management, or consulting, and a post-graduate degree in a related field. The role will involve designing and executing consumer-credit research studies, collaborating with analysts, synthesizing complex results, and participating in customer meetings.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in consumer-lending analytics, risk management, or consulting
- Post-graduate degree in business, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Proven proficiency with SAS, SQL, R, or Python for manipulating large data sets
- Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and small teams with minimal supervision
- Comfortable presenting findings to varied audiences
- Curiosity and tenacity to chase down the âwhyâ behind consumer behavior
- Strong customer-service orientation
