Job Description
Transwestern is seeking a Building Engineer to complete work orders, perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of a Life Science building, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience, a thorough knowledge of all building systems operations, maintenance and repair, and a strong customer service orientation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or trade school training
- A minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience
- Thorough knowledge in all building systems operations, maintenance and repair
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required
- Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques, and operations
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have a thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical and building automation systems
- Ability to understand and give general instructions in standard situations
- Operate and use necessary manual and power-driven tools
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong customer service orientation
