Job Description
Travelers is seeking an Sr Software Engineer (Engineering Enablement lead) to join our organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape through AI-driven engineering practices.
Requirements
- Five years of programming/development experience
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and product ownership within an engineering organization
- Delivery skills including the ability to determine the software design strategy and methodology to be used for efforts
- Domain expertise including the ability to develop business partnerships and influence priorities
- Problem solving skills including the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
- Communication skills including the ability to describe technology concepts in ways the business can understand
- Leadership skills with the ability to take action even when there is no clear owner
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience
- 6 additional years of software engineering experience
