Underwriter / Account Executive - Business Center

We are seeking an Underwriter/Account Executive to join our Business Center team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant underwriting experience, with a strong understanding of Business Insurance products and the regulatory environment. They will be responsible for managing profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business, and will work closely with internal and external partners to deliver seamless underwriting experiences and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Three to five years of relevant underwriting experience
• Knowledge of Business Insurance products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to proactively identify underwriting, marketing, or financial challenges and analyze available information to make timely decisions in alignment with our risk appetite
• Communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate with agents and brokers
• CPCU designation
• Two years of underwriting, claim, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance experience
