Senior Database Administrator

We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will have strong DevOps skills and experience in designing and implementing data processing in a big data environment. The role involves working with our Engineering teams to foster a "you build it, you run it" culture and designing and implementing data processing in a big data environment.

Requirements

• Design and implement data processing in a big data environment
• Database design and management in a cloud environment
• Build and sustain the pipeline of data ingress, processing and data distribution
• Identify the most efficient technology approach to implement business logic
• Implement monitoring and alerting to support the team reaching customer related SLAs
• Manage engineering and production costs in our cloud environment
• Collaborate with our Support team to build the tool set that can feed into productive customer communications
