Job Description
This position is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming material and finished parts, and performing detailed 1st piece inspections as well as final inspections. The position requires good working knowledge of standard measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparator.
Requirements
- Perform first piece inspection, in process and final inspection
- Validate quality of purchased and manufactured materials, parts and components as per set acceptance criteria
- Determine conformance to prints and specifications
- Maintain organized quality records and correspondence
- Assist with both internal and external audits
- Work with Engineering and Production to address any product issues
