Job Description
Government Relations Advisor I, II, III, or Senior position at Tri-State, responsible for identifying and analyzing key federal and state public policy issues, representing Tri-State's interests, and developing strategic public affairs campaigns. The position can be based in Cheyenne, WY or Westminster, CO.
Requirements
- Identify current and emerging key federal and state public policy issues
- Analyze the political environment associated with the issues
- Prepare strategic and tactical recommendations for policy positions
- Represent the interests of Tri-State to external organizations, governmental entities, and legislators and their staff
- Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory issues affecting Tri-State and its member systems
