The Level 3 Maintenance Technician performs advanced-level maintenance and mechanical repairs on vehicles and equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Execute advanced maintenance and mechanical repair tasks on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with PLCs, hydraulics, electrical systems, controls, pneumatics, and CNC/manual equipment.
- Conduct thorough preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machinery performance.
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot specialized equipment, including ovens.
- Read and interpret repair manuals for effective execution of repairs.
- Adhere to and enforce company safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to complete work orders and ensure project completion.
- Prepare detailed maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Document actions, irregularities, and communicate ongoing needs to maintain workflow continuity.
- Train and mentor lower-tier mechanics in maintenance techniques and best practices.
- Demonstrate initiative, independence, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Communicate issues and concerns clearly and respectfully through appropriate channels.
