Structural Fitter

The Structural Fitter will perform structural fit-up, alignment, and weld preparation activities on CVN, VCS, and ORP modules in support of the TIGER Team.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–7 years structural fitting experience in shipbuilding or heavy industrial fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret NAVSEA/NNS shipbuilding drawings and visual work instructions
• Experience with structural fitting equipment including torches, grinders, clamps, and rigging tools
• Physical ability to kneel, squat, crawl, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work assigned shift schedules including overtime and off-shift assignments supporting schedule priorities
• Ability to work safely in extreme temperatures, heights, and confined spaces
