Manager Software Engineering

The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a software engineering delivery team in CTCT, implementing features in software developed for technicians and operators of these machines. The role involves direct supervision of software engineers, engineering leadership, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Direct supervision of a staff of 4-6 software engineers
• Engineering leadership and software release management
• Provide technical guidance to team members
• Ability to work well with people with diverse skillsets and motivate others to achieve team goals and objectives
• Ability to facilitate the efficient application of each person’s time to the prioritized work
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborating across geographically disperse CTCT sites to drive continuous improvements in software development processes
• Understanding the importance of maintainable code and documentation
• Participation in the hazard reporting process and accurate reporting of incidents
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
