Biomedical Technician II

Biomedical Technician II responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying complex biomedical equipment. Collaborates with medical and clinical staff to ensure safe operation and use of clinical equipment. Develops specifications for new equipment and assists with service operations special projects.

Requirements

• Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex and intricate biomedical equipment
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex and intricate biomedical equipment
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of equipment database
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Discuss equipment status and functionality with clinicians
